Partnership for Children funds programs to reduce health risks,
identify children with unmet health concerns and help young children
obtain the services they need to be successful.

Child Care Health
Consultant
Gives technical assistance by registered nurses to child care
facilities and Head Start centers with workshops on topics such as
sanitation, infectious or contagious diseases, nutrition, emergency
preparedness, special health care needs and medication dispensing.

Sandhills Children’s
Center
Offers educational, healthcare and therapeutic services to children
birth to age 5 who have developmental disabilities. The Center also
consults with parents and teachers on therapy goals, adaptive equipment
and communication materials.
