County Partnership for Children works with many local agencies who provide
services to children and families.

By blending and leveraging existing resources and
providing funding through Smart Start, the following health related programs are made
possible for children in Richmond County:

Into the Mouths of
Babes addresses the prevention of tooth decay among infants and
children. Services provided include dental screenings, parent
and caregiver education, and the application of dental varnish to
teeth of high risk children ages 0-3.

Comprehensive Health
Care Screenings "B" provides direct
occupational, physical, and speech therapy services in a center-based
program. Consultation to parents and home-based teacher therapy
services are provided to children on the waiting list for center-based
programming.
