Education-Related Programs

Quality education is the core of Richmond County Partnership for Children’s offerings. We envision a community in which all children, regardless of household income, receive the best early education in order to prepare them for kindergarten.

More at Four
Funds the placement of at-risk 4-year-olds into the public school program designed to prepare the children for success in kindergarten. More at Four is a state-funded community based, voluntary pre-kindergarten initiative. Programs provide high quality standards using Creative Curriculum that focuses on preparing children in developmentally appropriate ways to be successful students.

Emphasis is placed on literacy, numbers, fine and gross motor skill development and problem solving. Numerous studies have shown that students in high quality pre-kindergarten programs are more likely to succeed in grades K-12.
