Richmond County will have access to high quality child care and will recognize
the value of early childhood education.
Mission
The mission of Child Care Avenues is to improve the quality and accessibility of child care and early childhood education in Richmond County. Goals

Promote
community awareness of the importance of early childhood education and the
components of quality child care. ·
Provide
quality referrals, not recommendations, to families seeking child care. ·
Offer
training, resource materials, technical assistance and quality incentives to
child care professionals. ·
Collect
and distribute local child care data to interested parties at the local, state
and national levels. ·
Offer
other services which support Child Care Avenues’ mission as needed.
